ABOUT CARRIE HERON
I love creating spaces for transformation. I discovered this passion through over twenty years of work experiences: counseling young people in residential treatment centers, teaching college students, consulting for non-profits, leading diversity, equity & inclusion initiatives, coaching rowers, designing and facilitating group learning experiences, providing one-on-one therapy, helping teams become more effective, and teaching yoga classes. The times that I felt most alive throughout all of these experiences were the moments when I was part of a individual or group's transformation.
While studying Yoga, I learned that the Sanskrit name for the fourth chakra (the "heart chakra") is anahata, which means "unstruck" - as in a bell that rings eternally, without ever having been hit. I believe we are all essentially unstruck.
I believe we each have wisdom inside of us. My mission is to help you access more of yours.
